About Me

I’m from Hebei province and studied English in University. Although I studied a western language in school, I have always been particularly interested in traditional Chinese culture, including concepts like Yin and Yang, Eastern medicine, and Tai Chi. If you want to tour around Beijing while learn about Chinese ancient philosophy and spirituality, I am the best fit amongst all the Beijing tour guides.

My Experiences

One highlight in my past experiences is that I have received formal and intense training of Meihua Quan, which is a famous style of hand-to-hand combat in traditional Wushu and stems from Northern China’s tradition of mixing religion with martial arts. I also received advanced Tai Chi training under Chan— One of the world’s leading Taichi masters. There are less than 5 experts who follow his specific form of Tai Chi in the world and I’m one of them.

When I tour my guests along the Great Wall, I will also lead sessions of Tai Chi if they want some exposure to the ancient art of exercise and energy. Practicing Tai Chi is a great way to smooth out your “Qi” and start or end your day. Many visitors have mentioned that learning Tai Chi with me is the most unforgettable part of their trip to Beijing. If you are interested in Tai Chi and want to learn about a new way to find balance and peace in your life, then I hope you will join me on a tour!
