During the visit to Hangzhou, you will be amazed by the natural scenery and historic sites of West Lake while taking a boat sightseeing. Besides, other cultural experiences are included: a visit to an old Buddhist temple, a view of the cultivation and production of traditional Chinese Longjing tea in the local green tea farm, at last a leisure walk along the old local pedestrian street – Hefang Street.
Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and start your journey by taking a train to Hangzhou.
Pickup in Hangzhou Railway Station, head to visit Linyin Temple. Linyin Temple, is located in Hangzhou, near to the West Lake. It was built l600 years ago when the Indian monk HuiLi came there, thus regarded as one of the ten famous oldest temples in China, Nowadays it’s still a sacred Buddhist destination for disciples to come and pray. And for you, just come and immerse yourself into the tranquility while appreciating the mountainous landscape surrounding the temple.
Continue to Meijiawu Longjing Tea Plantation where you will taste local Hangzhou-cuisine food at the homemade restaurant and taste some local famous dragon well (Longjin) green tea. After lunch you will have a short hiking trip along the tea plantation. Enjoy the amazing view of the tea garden and learn about tea picking and culture.
After that, head to the famous West Lake area, the "golden name card "of Hangzhou and famed for its beautiful natural scenery, historic sites and cultural relics. Take a boat on the lake, and relieve yourself to the stunning scenery.
Visit to the local old pedestrian street – Hefang Street. Wonder on the street, taste the local delicacy, visit the folklore museums and appreciate the traditional Chinese handiworks. Enjoy your time as a local!
Travel back to Shanghai by high speed rail then transfer back to your hotel.
