On this full-day Beijing tour, you will see two of the most popular attractions in China: the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. The Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall is fully restored, is less crowded, and has better architecture than the section at Badaling. The Ming Tombs, with a history of over 500 years, are burial sites of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
Mutianyu is a section of the Great Wall located in HuaiRou County 75km northeast of downtown Beijing. We'll head off to Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning.
This section of the Great Wall once worked as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. It is a green section of the great wall in Beijing with vegetation, green pines and cypresses covering 90 percent of the section.
In the afternoon, we'll visit Changling.The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years’ history
We'll visit the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried.
